Accommodation

Blue Dome Supported Housing is responsible for and committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all service users.

All properties, prior to occupation, must comply with relevant safety standards as set out in the:

  • Current landlord’s gas safety certificate
  • Periodic electrical installation report
  • Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
  • Other safety compliance documents as per local authority HMO rules and regulations

During service user occupancy:

  • Blue Dome Supported Housing staff will undertake periodic checks on the property to ensure that they continue to meet the requisite standards, as set out above.
  • Blue Dome Supported Housing staff will monitor and maintain a record of the visits to inspect the condition of accommodation – and the finding of the visits; these will be made available on request to representatives of the local authority.
  • All inspections will include an examination of appliances for damage that is likely to be of a hazardous nature and likely to cause injury.
  • Any necessary repairs, either identified by a member of staff or reported by the service user, will be carried out fully within appropriate timescales.
