Referral Process

The Blue Dome Supported Housing referral process requires that all applicants undergo an assessment. This procedure is necessary to identify the suitability of service users in meeting the eligibility criteria for accommodation. Most applicants will be referred by external agencies where risk assessments will already be conducted with accompanying supporting documents.

Referral organisations include:

  • Local Authority Housing Options Team
  • Homeless Prevention Organisations
  • Other Statutory & Voluntary Outreach Organisations

Self-referrals are accepted. Eligible applicants must:

  • be aged 18-65
  • be in receipt of welfare benefits
  • provide photo ID (passport or driving licence)
  • provide evidence of National Insurance number
